After many years of neglect, the Palace has been reconstructed and welcomes guests again. It also includes a comfortable hotel and a restaurant.
The laying of the castle on the territory of Kossovo took place in 1838. At the same time, an English-style park was laid out. The architect of the ensemble was the Pole Frantisek Yaschold, and the first owner and initiator of the construction was the voivode Kazimir Puslovskiy. The palace was completed with the participation of the son of Casimir Vandolin, and the Italian architect Vladislav Marconi was involved in the interiors.
The Kossovo Palace is unique in its own way. The building consists of a central two-storied building and two side wings, and thanks to the faceted jagged towers, it is often called a miniature castle. Each tower symbolized the month of the year, while the 4 central ones - in honor of the fruitful ones, that is, May, June, July and August - are the highest. There are more than 100 rooms in the palace, and not a single walk-through. Thanks to the system of corridors and the special arrangement of windows, for two and a half days a year, sunlight completely flooded one of the chambers.
